END OF VOLUME 1

I've explained this a bit for my lovely patrons but I need to say it here as well-- thank you for sticking with me thus far!

Far to the North first launched with Hiveworks in February 2015 and I view it as my personal 4 year degree in visual storytelling. Thanks to Isa from Namesake I figured out what I was doing wrong and went through SO MANY BOOKS about cinematography and storyboarding to try and get it right.

Unfortunately, the comic is not ready for print in the near future as the pages are in several stages of different sizes and the earliest PSD files are corrupted and entirely unusable. I intend to go back and fix things over time, then get it printed. Hopefully all of that will give me a chance to flesh out volume 2, as the story is still in development and it's nowhere near ready for me to start.

I've worked on this comic for years and I'm ready to work on other things for a while. The more time I get to dedicate to my patreon-exclusive comics the faster I can get them printed. They will be shorter one-shots like Persephone and I'm so excited to work on more small projects! Tigress Queen will continue to update, but Far to the North will be on an indefinite hiatus for the foreseeable future.

I have already gotten comments from people asking that I not put the series on hiatus, but I literally have nothing else to give it at this point. The story just isn't ready. I don't want to force myself to work on the same project for ten years when I want to work on other things because that is exactly what causes other long-running comics to get abandoned out of burnout. FTTN will be back. When it's ready. Thank you for your patience and understanding and I hope you enjoy the work I'm able to put out in my new spare time!

To keep up with what I'm working on at any given time, I am most active on Twitter!

Thank you again!
